Alternatives

Alternatives are a concept used for the Field Rules.
If, for example, you would like to have a selection of different e-mail addresses inside the same profile, you can place several rules with the same (or a similar) Field Rule and different values (your different e-mail addresses) right behind each other (see also Advanced Editor).
Normally, the first rule in the profile list matching a form field is used. But if the rules placed right behind the matching rule match as well, a selection dialog is shown.

If you have several groups of Alternatives in your profile with the same number of Alternatives (e.g. two e-mail addresses, two usernames), you only have to select from one selection dialog. The index of the first selection is used for any subsequent selections (see also Advanced Settings).
